Fields "Flash vendor", "PCB vendor" and "Memory IC Package" on all memory module pages may be removed soon due to how rarely they are used. Such information would be under "Notes" if provided.

Major performance imporovement on server-side processing with the version 2.1 of the CTCL website. RAMList pages should now see a 10x faster server-side processing time. This was done by using the CSV (Comma-separated values) format instead of YAML for device entries. For reading into Python dictionaries, the Python CSV library performs significantly faster than YAML. CSV also appears to be more suitable for the table-like content of RAMList. The amount of data received by the browser from this change should be the same.

Other fixes:

October 2, 2022

Due to the extended downtime of my server systems (including the router and DNS server), I was limited with what I could work on for a while.

Fixes to DDR3 list:

September 10, 2022

Finished adding i4memory DDR3 RAM list entries to DDR3 list.

September 9, 2022

Currently in the process of adding the rest of the DDR3 list information from i4memory RAM List.

September 8, 2022

Added all of i4memory RAM List entries for DDR2 to the DDR2 list. This added over 300 entries to DDR2! Same method was used before and there may be some errors such as missing voltage information. Such errors will be corrected.

August 3, 2022

Finished adding all of the DDR listings from the former i4memory RAM List. Over 100 entries added today. Adding these entries so quickly was possible due to making a Python script that parsed HTML tables.

July 31, 2022

With the realitively recent release (2020) of the DDR5 memory module standard, more items have been added to the DDR5 list. I will continue to go in the order of SDRAM, DDR, DDR2, etc.

Most of the DDR5 modules covered by TechPowerUp have been added to DDR5.

July 11, 2022

RAMList gained major updates with the total rewrite of the CTCL website.

What was changed:

June 30, 2022

Added list for Laptop/Chromebook/Macbook devices, one device added to the list to start. Added entries to DDR, DDR3 and DDR4.

June 29, 2022

Changed color scheme of buttons on the RAMList menu using standard "web" colors for better support on systems with much older browsers and to have other memory lists not look "grayed-out" or unavailable. Added other embedded device list page with four new entries. Improvements to entries in DDR list.

June 28, 2022

Added list for Solid-State Drives with two drives. Corrected MSGVD3E4G3160B1A5H under SDRAM being a TSOP-66 package, SDRAM ICs use TSOP-54 packages. Corrected DSL/Data Specialties Registered memory having Register IC marked as "N/A".

June 27, 2022

Added Graphics Card page. Fixed bug where "Entries:" was under every module brand. Added DDR2 page with items listed at DSL's (Data Specialties) webpage, listings that were incorrect such as 512 MByte modules consisting of four 512 Mbit ICs were corrected for RAMList. Split SSD and HDD/SSHD list pages due to using greatly different technologies, pages for both not added yet.

June 23, 2022

New feature that lists the amount of entries in a memory type page. The number of entries is shown at the top of each memory type page. For additions to lists, one Corsair module was added to DDR4.

January 23, 2022

Almost all ADATA modules in DDR incorrectly listed the voltage as 2.5v, the voltage that the modules were rated for is unknown except for Kris's module.

January 22, 2022

Added announcements page, this was done originally on Discord back in early 2021. Having announcements here is much better as reliance on another service is not needed.

January 20, 2022

New RAMList released with the rest of the new crazyblockstech.com.
